Following the massive impact of our inaugural event in 2019, the youth team—now moving closer toward our vision as the Srishti Amba Foundation—took our oath of patriotism to the next level. On January 23, 2020, we gathered once again to honor the life, courage, and timeless legacy of India’s true revolutionary icon: Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
Formerly the Free Indian Society, it ultimately inspired them to formally establish our non-profit NGO, the Srishti Amba Foundation, to continue serving the nation.
Our mission remained unwavering: to ensure that modern youth never forget the sacrifices of this unforgettable real hero of India.
Building on our past milestones, our young changemakers designed a highly engaging, education-focused public drive that combined visual tribute with historical literacy.
To command public visibility and remind every passerby of our national pride, our team erected a massive 8×80 ft size flex banner. Featuring rare and striking imagery of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose standing in his iconic military uniform, this monumental visual installation became the central attraction of the entire locality.
We realized that inspiring the younger generation requires deeply rooting them in historical facts. Moving a step ahead from the previous year, we distributed specially curated Netaji history books to children, students, and local youngsters. This initiative was aimed at providing authentic knowledge about the Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army) and Netaji’s unmatched strategies for Indian independence.
The air was filled with patriotic slogans as our youth speakers delivered moving public history speeches. They revisited Netaji’s fiery words—“Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom!”—explaining how his philosophy applies to modern social responsibility. To celebrate the auspicious day, volunteers distributed delicious traditional laddus to all attendees and local community members, spreading joy and unity.
Why the Youth Continues this Journey: For the Srishti Amba Foundation team, Netaji’s birthday is not just an annual ritual; it is a reminder of our core responsibility toward nation-building. By educating the public and keeping Netaji’s memory alive, we channel that same revolutionary energy into our foundation’s daily social welfare, healthcare, and educational drives.
